The Specialized Turbo Vado 4.0 Step-Through is an everyday pedelec equipped with 27.5″ wheels and a lowered top tube for easier climbing and descending. It is suitable for shopping trips through the city, commuting to work, leisure trips or fitness sessions. With its Turbo Full Power 2.0 motor and 710 Wh battery, which has a range of 120 kilometres, it amplifies your pedalling power fourfold, in a smooth, steady and very natural way. The geometry of the aluminium frame bridges the gap between sportiness and comfort, so that you can get from A to B quickly and comfortably at the same time. The 80 mm suspension fork, the reliable SRAM NX 11-speed drivetrain and the Level 2 piston disc brakes help you feel comfortable and safe, uphill and downhill and even on bumpy terrain. In addition, the suspension seatpost and the 2.3″ wide tyres reinforce the impression of floating along.
On the handlebars of the Turbo Vado is the MasterMind Turbo Control colour display, which shows all important riding data. You can also use it to adjust ride mode settings via remote, and you can pair it with sensors and other devices. Many other parameters, such as battery management, can be adjusted via the Mission Control app from Specialized. You can also deactivate the motor to deter thieves, so that it can only be unlocked using your personal PIN. Incidentally, the battery hidden in the down tube can be locked or removed without tools in just two steps. An integrated light system, fenders to protect against dirt and a pannier rack that can carry up to 27 kg further increase the utility of this e-bike, which is compatible with kids seats and trailers. This bike will stand by you as a mile-eater, load-bearer, sporty fun machine – day after day after day.
