The Specialized Turbo Tero 4.0 EQ is a comprehensively-equipped pedelec with an aluminium frame for off-road use, everyday rides on the road and touring. With its Turbo Full Power 2.0 motor and 710 Wh battery, it boosts your pedalling power threefold, so that long distances, steep climbs and high additional loads are no longer a problem. The 110 mm RockShox suspension fork, the 4-piston disc brake, the adjustable seatpost and the 29″ wheels with 2.35″ wide tyres reveal the MTB genes of the Turbo Tero, which has also been equipped with reliable SRAM NX 11-speed gears.
The MasterMind Turbo Control colour display is located on the handlebars and gives you and overview of all important riding data. You can also use it to adjust ride mode settings via remote, and you can pair it with sensors and other devices. Fine-tuning the pedal assist in 10% increments is also possible. Many other parameters, such as battery management, can be adjusted via the Mission Control app from Specialized. You can also deactivate the motor to deter thieves, so that it can only be unlocked using your personal PIN. Incidentally, the battery hidden in the down tube can be locked or removed without tools in just two steps. Integrated lighting, fenders and a pannier rack with a load capacity of up to 27 kg further increase the utility value of this e-bike, which is compatible with kids seats and trailers.
