The Hillbilly Grid Gravity T9 is a 29″ MTB front tyre which provides extra grip on soft and loose surfaces with very high puncture protection. This is due in part to the tread made of a highly damping compound called GRIPTON® T9, which ensures perfect vibration absorption and thus maximises traction on the trail. The dual-ply carcass construction not only optimises handling, but also makes the tyre tougher and more resistant to damage. With 2Bliss Ready components, this tyre can also function without an inner tube.

GRIPTON T9 is a variation of the Specialized proven GRIPTON rubber compound based on synthetic rubber and an activated silica compound. It is a super gripping gravity compound that morphs slowly back into its starting position when deformed or impacted. The goal is to absorb every kind of vibration, so that the tyre essentially sticks to the ground. The ” T” stands for ” Tread Compound,” and the number 9, on a scale from 1 to 10 (the extremes values 1 and 10 do not exist), indicates the degree of damping and road grip, which in this case offers the highest possible value.
