The FH-MT410-B Rear Hub by Shimano – For thru-axle frames with 148 mm over locknut dimension
The Shimano FH-MT410-B is an Deore-level, groupless rear hub that is compatible with 12 x 148mm rear over locknut dimension and is intended for trail and touring use. Compared to FH-MT400-B, it has a larger partial bolt circle diameter and comes with cartridge bearings. Thanks to the Micro-Spline freehub body, it can be combined with 12-speed cassettes with 10-tooth sprockets. The pawl design offers 36 engagement points for rapid force closure. The Center Lock mount also makes it very easy to attach the brake rotor to the hub. The body of the FH-MT410-B is made of aluminium, while the axle and freehub are made of steel. According to the Shimano E-Thru system for thru-axles, the model also impresses with an optimal ratio of stiffness and weight.

E-Thru is a tool-free thru-axle system from Shimano that optimises the stiffness-to-weight ratio and ensures easy handling via its reliable internal cam mechanism. It is characterised by a high torsion resistance and thus also supports cornering at high speed. E-Thru thru-axle hubs and thru-axles are available in the corresponding over locknut dimensions for front and rear.
