Shimano thru-axle AX-MT500 – with silver axle and painted lever
In contrast to the AX-MT700, the Shimano AX-MT500 thru-axle features a silver anodised aluminium hollow axis and a painted aluminium lever. The version for 12 x 142 mm rear wheels has a 166 mm long axle, the version for 12 x 148 is 172 mm long. Shimano E-Thru ensures optimum load distribution and perfect stiffness at the lowest possible weight.
