The Vortrieb Modell 1 Special Edition men’s bike is the ultimate bike for commuting, city rides and everyday use. This is a limited edition of the first complete in-house development under our Vortrieb brand.
The high-quality components are impressive: a Rohloff 14-speed internally geared hub with Gates belt drive, brakes by Hope, lighting by SON and Supernova, a cockpit by Ritchey and contact points by Brooks and Ergon.
Durability, low-maintenance and sportiness are the hallmarks of Vortrieb’s urban bikes. The Special Edition pushes the already outstanding features of the Model 1 to the peak. The frame is stiff and effectively converts every pedal revolution into pure power. The rigid fork and wide handlebars ensure reactive handling. The brakes work phenomenally. The seating position is sporty and central. Here we remain true to ourselves as well as the brand’s name – and that is simply consistent.
Vortrieb is part of the DNA of bike-components, as this brand has been under our roof for over 10 years. However, like everything with lasting value, it has to move forward with the times. This is why we have decided to focus on the increasingly relevant topic of local mobility and leisure activities. The Special Edition commemorates five years of the Model 1.
