This is the first tyre carcass on the market specifically designed for the specific needs and requirements of E-mountain bikes: a reinforced layer of woven synthetic fibre and additional puncture protection insert. Kenda tyres with EMC technology are ECE-R75 tested and thus approved for use on e-bikes up to 50 km/h.

DTC: Dual Tread Compound
The tyres with DTC have 2 different rubber compounds combined in one tread pattern. A soft Stick-E (50 Shore A durometer) compound on the sides for good grip in the corners and a harder L3R Pro (60 Shore A durometer) rubber compound in the centre for less rolling resistance and longer life.
