The tyres with DTC have 2 different rubber compounds combined in one tread pattern. A soft Stick-E (50 Shore A Durometer) on the sides for good grip in the corners and a harder L3R Pro (60 Shore A Durometer) in the middle for less rolling resistance and longer service life – even more so on the Enduro version than on the Downhill tyres.

EMC (E-Mountain Bike Casing)
Kenda’s EMC is the first tyre carcass on the market that has been specially developed for the specific needs and requirements of E-mountain bikes: a reinforced layer of woven synthetic fibre with an additional puncture protection insert. Kenda tyres with EMC technology are ECE-R75 tested and thus approved for use on e-bikes up to 50 km/h.
