Focus JAM 8.9 Carbon 29″ Mountain Bike

The JAM 8.9 mountain bike by FOCUS is a playful 29″ trail bike with a carbon frame, equipped with suspension parts by Fox Racing Shox and Shimano XT 12-speed gears. It offers 150 mm travel at the front and rear and is characterised by a very progressively-tuned linkage design as well as agile handling, which gives you riding pleasure and confidence on demanding routes. A flip chip on the rear triangle allows you to adjust the geometry to make it even more downhill-ready. A bag integrated into the down tube can be used to stow accessories.

The second generation FOCUS Optimised Linkage Design is more progressive than the previous F.O.L.D. linkage design, so that the puncture protection at the end of the suspension travel is even stronger – for more stability in demanding terrain. This is made possible by a change to the guide and Mainlink lever. However, you will still experience the chassis as sensitive. Another advantage is the lower standover height of the frame made possible by the F.O.L.D. upgrade.

C.I.S.
Fully-integrated C.I.S. cable routing ensures a tidy cockpit. All cables run through the special stem and headset directly into the frame. Flawless braking and shifting is of course guaranteed at all times.

I.C.S.
Internal Compartment Solution (I.C.S.) means that a bag is hidden in the carbon frame of the JAM 8 series, more precisely in the down tube. You can fill them with accessories such as tools and easily remove them when needed. To do this, press the button on the cover that protects the bag from dirt.
