Focus Izalco Max 9.7 Disc Carbon 28″ Road Bike

The Izalco Max 9.7 is an aerodynamic road bike from FOCUS, based on a very lightweight carbon frame, equipped with SRAM Rival eTap AXS 2×12-speed electronic shifting and DT Swiss ARC 1600 wheels. Its Race geometry was optimised in the wind tunnel and designed to bring your power directly to the road. 28 mm wide tyres provide more comfort, while the disc brakes increase safety at top speeds and in bad weather.

Fully-integrated C.I.S. cable routing ensures a tidy cockpit. All cables run through the special stem and headset directly into the frame. Perfect braking and shifting is guaranteed at all times.

S.S.P.S.
The Stable Stiffness per Size (S.S.P.S.) process means that each frame size receives a specially-tuned carbon lay-up and is individually constructed. This is the only way to ensure an optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio and equal riding characteristics for each size.

R.A.T.
FOCUS has developed its own patented Rapid Axle Technology (R.A.T.) for Mountain bikes, Road bikes and Cyclocross bikes. When developing the R.A.T. thru-axle, the focus was clearly on quick and easy operation when changing the wheel. As a result of the development, Rapid Axle Technology combines the stability and rigidity of a thru-axle with the advantages of quick releases.
