DT Swiss HX 1501 SPLINE 25 Boost 6-bolt Disc 29″ Hybrid Wheel – For cross-country e-bikes
The HX 1501 SPLINE wheel from DT Swiss is made for all those who rely on electric support in cross country. The large 29″ wheels convince with their HYBRID system, which provides the necessary stability on the E-MTB with additionally reinforced hubs, rims and spokes. The SPLINE construction with straight pull spokes supports this additional stability. The Ratchet 24-tooth freehub is also made from strong steel and can handle the sustained larger forces on the e-bike. Prepared for 6-bolt brake rotors, the wheel is also equipped for hard braking manoeuvres and gives you sufficient control during the ride.

Suitable for use in very rough terrain with jumps of up to approx. 120 cm in height and speeds of up to 40 km/h. Very good riding technique is required. The components must be checked for damage after each ride.

HYBRID:
To cope with the higher loads on e-bikes, the hubs, as the heart of the wheel, have a higher wall thickness and larger housings than usual hubs. The spoke holes have been additionally reinforced. The freehub rotor is made from steel and is equipped with 24-tooth ratchets, which are made from special hardened steel. Heavy-duty axles and oversized hubs allow the wheels to work while bearing high loads. The rims have thicker rim walls and offer plenty of traction. The connecting element between rim and hub, the spokes, have reinforced spoke heads and are made of special steel alloys in order to withstand stronger external forces.

SPLINE:
Straight pull hubs, straight spokes and strong rims result in a durable wheel. It can therefore be reliably used in training and competition.

Ratchet System:
The robust and reliable star ratchets freehub system can be maintained easily and quickly. The no-tool concept contributes to this, because it allows disassembly without any tools. The freehub has two ratchets which engage simultaneously. This means that the contact surface is large and the point load is kept small, which relieves the material and allows the freehub to work particularly reliably and precisely.

Pro Lock:
The nipple thread is coated with two-component adhesive to increase the durability of the wheels. It can still be re-trued several times without any problems, but the adhesive strength decreases slightly. The connection between the spoke and nipple cannot loosen by itself.
