DT Swiss EX 1700 SPLINE 30 Boost 6-bolt disc 27.5″ wheelset – for the toughest situations
With the EX 1700 SPLINE wheelset from DT Swiss, your 27.5″ Enduro bike is equipped for hard trails. At the centre of the reinforced aluminium rims is the robust 350 straight pull hub. The 30 mm inner rim width and the strong Boost hub offer plenty of room for wide tyres and allow you to ride with particularly low tyre pressure. The proven freehub Ratchet System has 36 teeth. As a result, the two ratchets have a large contact surface, which ensures very good power transmission. So you get propulsion without much loss of power. With 6-bolt brake rotors, the wheelset withstands even the harsher braking manoeuvres on your MTB. This way you always retain control over your bike.

Suitable for use in very rough terrain with jumps of up to approx. 120 cm in height and speeds of up to 40 km/h. Very good riding technique is required. The components must be checked for damage after each ride.

SPLINE:
Straight pull hubs, straight spokes and strong rims result in a durable wheel. It can therefore be reliably used in training and competition.

Ratchet System:
The robust and reliable star ratchets freehub system can be maintained easily and quickly. The no-tool concept contributes to this, because it allows disassembly without any tools. The freehub has two ratchets which engage simultaneously. This means that the contact surface is large and the point load is kept small, which relieves the material and allows the freehub to work particularly reliably and precisely.

Pro Lock:
The nipple thread is coated with two-component adhesive to increase the durability of the wheels. It can still be re-trued several times without any problems, but the adhesive strength decreases slightly. The connection between the spoke and nipple cannot loosen by itself.
