A flat centre part allows for better aerodynamics. As with butted DT Swiss spokes, this shape is also created using a cold-forging process.

Double Butted:
Double-butted spokes have a middle section which is thinner than the ends. All double-butted DT Swiss spokes are manufactured in a specially developed cold-forging process.

Straight Pull:
Straight pull stands for straight, no-bend spokes. Thanks to this technology it is possible to achieve an ideal ratio between weight and stability. The straight pull spokes allow a very precise alignment and optimised positioning in the wheel, resulting in a stiffer and more responsive wheel.
