The 240 Straight Pull Road rear hub from DT Swiss is a stable but light hub for road bikes with rim brakes. The Ratchet EXP freehub is equipped with the latest technology and has 36 teeth. In this way a large contact surface is created, which ensures high power transmission. The bearings are integrated into the threaded rings, thus increasing the distance between the bearings. As a result, the hub is stiffer, which leads to less load on the bearings, increasing their durability. The no-tool concept is particularly practical. This allows you to service the hub without any tools. Even if you want to change the freehub body, no tools are required.

A ratchet and a threaded ring are integrated into the hub. This reduces the number of components required, resulting in less wear and tear and a lower weight. The freehub has two ratchets which engage simultaneously.
