In the disc brake version for 6-bolt brake rotors, the DT Swiss 240 Straight Pull MTB rear hub with Boost-Standard offers you plenty of room for really wide tyres. Furthermore, the new freehub technology from DT Swiss is used here. The Ratchet EXP freehub uses the advantages of a ratchet with 36 teeth. These offer optimum power transmission, preventing undesirable idling. In addition, bearings integrated into the threaded rings increase the distance between the bearings. As a result, the axis moves less, which leads to a lower load on the bearings. Therefore, the already stable Boost hub is even more durable. Due to the no-tool concept, you can service the 240 Straight Pull without tools and change the freehub body. The 6-bolt disc brake mount does its part to ensure that you have the most modern standards on your bike.

The freehub has two ratchets which engage simultaneously. This means that the contact surface is large and the point load is kept small, which relieves the material and allows the freehub to work particularly reliably and precisely.
